About
Who we are
RatesAppeal is a research tool for NSW property owners who want a clearer look at land valuations and nearby sales before they decide what to do next.
The short version
We sit under QuantumAxis, an Australian software team. The product is built around public NSW sales and land value data so you can compare your property with recent sales and organise evidence for your own review.
We do not lodge objections. We do not act as your valuer, lawyer, or rates agent. If your situation is complex, talk to a qualified professional.
What we focus on
- Comparable sales research for NSW land valuation questions
- Clearer separation between council rate bills and Valuer General notices
- Guides and council rate context that you can read without signing up
Data and honesty
Historical bulk land values and sales come from NSW open data sources under Creative Commons licensing. Bulk property data can be incomplete or out of date. Always check your own notices and official channels before you rely on a figure.
Success of any objection depends on the evidence and the Valuer General process. There is no guaranteed outcome or saving.
